I just hoy into the r/c thing. I bought a Nitro Razor Xt and wanted to know if it was a lemon. please let me know. There is not much info on it out there so I was hoping some people with experience could help me. thank you all.

I don't have any firsthand experience with the Razor, but I do know it was a featured car on Chris Chianelli's Remote Control Hobbies on DIY last season. It looked like it ran well and was user friendly. And I assume Megatech has a lot of parts support for it. So I don't think you did too bad. The best thing is that you are now a member of the RC community. So I say welcome. It's a blast!!!

I'm not to sure about that RC.:\
What I do know is its better than no RC.:D
learn how to run, drive, and maintain it. After the learning curve you can make up your own mind if you like it or not.

If you have any questions, let us know. Its better to ask than to screw something up.

Welcome to RCNT.

thank you for the warm welcome fellas. I have been looking into the car some and it is hard to find any conclusive evidense either for or against the car. I am not sure if megatech is a reputable company or not. I just don't want to feel like I was riped of my money.

if you're having fun with it, then it was money well spent. I wouldn't sweat it. If it break, you get to learn how to fix it. ;) It is a tinkering hobby and tinkering is quite fun too. Have fun and welcome to rcnitrotalk (RCNT).

Megatech isn't a bad company at all. They make decent parts and decent motors. I wouldn't say it's top of the line, but I won't say it's worst either. It'd be a great starting out RC. Something to learn with. :)
