It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Since the cat has gotten out of the bag we figured that it would be better for you to get the pictures from the source. You are looking at some of the working C.A.D. drawings of the up and coming GS Avenger. At this time the Avenger is still in the prototype stage and will be entering initial testing in early February.
new pivot ball front-end features 14mm pivot balls and super thick suspension arms for super smooth suspension travel and superior durability.
Avenger includes new 13mm aluminum shock bodies with 3.5mm shock shafts for smooth shock travel and improved durability. Pivot ball front suspension features GS's unique adjuster clips for easy camber and width settings.
Avenger's lower suspension arms are 2mm longer than the Storm's, giving the Avenger a plusher ride through the toughest ruts. The center diff. mount has been moved over to the right allowing the engine to be closer to the centerline of the chassis for better weight distribution and overall balance. Newly designed front-end geometry reduces front chassis bottoming on hard landings and improves steering response. Forward swept front drive shafts provide improved traction on rough tracks.
radio box will allow virtually all sizes of receivers and batteries to fit, including on road style flat packs, which can be installed flat for a super low cg.
the many improvements made on the new Avenger-Storm MKII is a much lower C.G., almost 25% lower than the original Storm for improved handling and higher corner speeds.
Avenger will have a low profile radio tray with lay-down steering servo along with many more unique features that will keep the C.G . low for better overall handling.
innovative modular design of the front and rear bulkheads house differentials that are 50% smaller than before, allowing for a lower C.G. and much less rotational mass, making the Avenger able to accelerate much faster.
Stronger new bulkhead-mounted lower suspension mounts allow for adjustable anti squat and rear toe-in.
GS Racing is very excited about the new Avenger and is looking forward to a successful race season. Check back soon for more updates...
