Ok so my 3.3 blew a piston rod and I'm looking for a new engine. I'm kinda sad becuase i thought i would be done putting money in it for awhile since I'm looking to buy a real car. I just wanted some suggestions on a new cheap but good engine. perferebly 120 or below. I know i can get a 3.3 for 100 on ebay so i dont know if i should do that or get a differnt one. so any suggestions on what to get........its for a t-maxx the new extended one thanks

IMO, buy a new piston and sleeve, maybe new bearings depending how old the engine is and get out of this cheap. $50

He broke the con-rod, so that will add another $30-$40 to the total. Otherwise I'd say your suggestion is the right thing to do. :)

yeah a guy my dad works with is a guru with these and he knows a place to get a trx 3.3 for 95.00 not too bad i guess
