New Engine or What?

My brother's friend brought his old RC10GT over and I guess it got ran over by a car I don't no but both sides where the engine bolts on to the engine mounts the crank case is busted and it needs a new cooling head. Should he get a new CV-X or rebuild it?

I've never heard of any rc car that has been turned into roadkill and come back for the grave.

If it doesn't need too much work, sounds like a new engine is in order.

By the time you replace everything you are almost at the price of a new engine. Just get something bigger and better.
