New Controller and Receiver

I have been looking into getting a controller to replace the 3 or 4 that i have right now. I was looking at the Futaba 3 PM and it seems pretty nice. It says it has 10-model memory. Does that mean it will hold trims for 10 different cars and i can replace 4 controllers with 1? Would it just be a matter of buying receivers for all the trucks? Can i run my stock servos?

If you can swing it get the 3PKS. Awesome radio. Everytime I use it it try to find somthing about it I don't like. I have not found one yet!

You will have to replace all of your recievers. The stock servos will work but you will want somthing faster (digital) to take advantage of the improved response of this radio.

I will over time replace the servos but just for bashing i dont think i will be missing too much using the stockers. My biggest motivation is lowering the number of controller i have to tote around.

i would get a m11, or maybe even a m8.. They are great for racing but you can find them pretty cheap and would be perfect for a basher, to hook up all your cars and truck and what not. My m11 has 30 car memory i think. I picked it up in perfect condition a couple months ago for $175

What brand are they? Why would they be good for bashing over other models?

They are Airtronics. But the m11 was pretty much the radio to have. Untill 3pk and 4pk came out. You can adjust pretty much everything you can think of. And it has many features. And for the price you can get em now.. You can't beat it

yes M11

airtronics m11 is what we run with the spectrum modules and rx's. you can get them for $175(crystals) - $300(spectrum/rx's) used on any forum any giv'n day.....

if you get one with the spectrum set - i can mod it to eliminate the antenna from the back to the stock location on top. it is alot safer - as to not bust the antenna off like 90% of us have. $30

Ya, idk if you are talking about new price $300 for synthesized, or used. but i picked up mine with the spektrum unit and a reciever for $175.
