Engines stripped of the parts I might need bell housing clutch pull start and now on flea bay do you think it’s worth selling the exhaust? Or keep it as a spare shinny thing

I try to hang on to rare and shiny stuff.
If you sell it, don't give it away at a low price or better, find something similar that you really want and see if you can work a trade.
If you're planning to stay in the hobby and build more nitro cars, seems like its something you'd use anyways.

I didn't look it up. I'm basing my comment solely on that its in super clean shape, doesn't look dented etc.
If they are all over the place, no need to think twice about selling it!

Trying to get my head around wheel offsets I’m waiting for a wheel spanner at the moment only got my savage one and that’s to big. Anyone know the stand wheels that came on the cars offset ? And am I right in saying a + offset means the wheels are basicly moving inwards. I need to trim down a bit to get a body shell to fit

Managed to off load the engine on eBay for £80 looking to get a g3.0 but while I was hunting found a g3.0 HO high output but looking at the specs there identical HP and REVS just the HO version has a 7mm carb instead of a 6.5mm anyone know about this HO version ?

Shell started not turning out as expected rarely does few bits to finish tomorrow and waiting the correct off set wheels

On the outside? No, you don't really want to clear the outside. Well, sometimes you do. The only way to get a matte finish on a lexan body is to spray a matte clear on the outside, and I have done that before. It gives a cool look, like let's say you want the hood black, with a matte finish. So you mask the hood off on the outside and matte it. But it will get scuffed off fairly easily, so it's best to keep that kinda detail work to areas that won't see much road rash.

And you did an awesome job on that body. Don't be hard on yourself.

Being how they are painted on the inside there is no clear. But you can back it. Light color will be lighter paint, darker color will darken it. I back white then silver before black so black doesn't bleed through.

Thanks for the compliment but I’m sure you know you always look at ur own work and judge it harshly I’m happy with it just waiting the new engine there’s no stock till mid feb

I think the Audi body looks great!
The only body I ever sprayed on the outside came out BAD. So I don't do that any more!
A couple months for that motor??? Oh well... its winter.

We try to save the bashing for the skateparks!

Ya I ordered the g3.0 then latter asked the company about a mount for the engine. They said as far as they know there isn’t on and recommended the T3.0 I think it’s a built in mount. But it’s on back order so I took that so on the + side I’m incredibly impatient so waiting for the engine calms me down to do the other bits
