I love it but don’t think it will fit half the left side will be removed with the exhaust so sad really
I was thinking the engine might cut into the driver too.
Oh well. Tons of other fast and impractical options left out there! 👍

Just checked HPI website I think maybe they deleted older manuals can’t seem to find mine on there only shaft driven ones

Try there and see if they have your info. 👍
Should be there well done I will start with this one first 👍

Thinking this engine has to go it’s gonna be a head ache got the wrong type carb on I will keep it for a spare for the savage. So recommendations for a standard fit engine ? What’s all the cool kids 😎 running

Hpi t15, t3.0 and g3.0
You can go sh .18. The hpi 3.0 is a .18 cubic inch. You could go to a smaller sh .12 with more rpm

Then we got the o.s. and novarosssi motors. How much do you want to spend?

I'm not up to date either.
I know @Littlemotor had some big nitros for sale. He's very into 1/8th scale nitro! Maybe he's got a stash that would fit this?
If not, I'll bet he "knows a guy". 😉

Just checked that HPI g3.0 that’s well in price is do a bit of buy and sell on e bay and that engine I have can in time go for 60 gbp quite easily. When looking for engines for these smaller cars max rpm is the most important I 🤔 ?
60gbp? Thats almost $80 US?
So like $4trillion Canadian right? 🤣
You'll find someone who wants "that" motor and is willing to pay I'll bet. 👍

Unfortunately I’m not up to date on much when it comes to non-sealed backplate mills.. I’d point toward @Chubaka or @WickedFog ’s recommendations on this for sure. I will say-don’t write off the smaller displacement .12’s like Chewie mentioned-those little RS4’s are light as shiit, and a proper high revving .12 that’s not an RTR grade replacement motor will absolutely make you a believer… When I ran my little CRT.5 mini-truggy way back when-errrrrrrybody was shoe-horning the OS 18TZ motors in ‘em for displacement, and my little PICCO JLR .12 “Red Dot” on-road motor would leave those boys scratching their daamned melons every. single. time.. 😈

I have heard nothing but rave reviews for the novarosssi I will make a list and compare then get the best looking and shiny one 😂
eBay is your best friend for those. They haven’t been produced for years now, and the “new old stock” built engines are beginning to dry up. So if you find the right motor, and from a reputable seller; JUMP ON IT. 😉

Jesus novarosssi gonna have looking under the sofa for money 😂
Guess plan now is sell the engine and exhaust and probably the wheels don’t need drift wheels get a body then worry about rebuilding 1st quarter of next year
