Well next project, RC10B7D, I already have a question lol. Are the front bell cranks supposed to relax off to one side? I figured they would stay in a neutral position.

Your desk is prolly slightly off level, which allows the bearings in the bellcrank to slide down toward that angle.
No even tilted it stays left, but they do move freely. I just don’t want to get way ahead to find out I made a mistake lol

This is all I could get in today. Ordered Reedy Sonic 17.5T motor with black box 610R and reedy low profile brushless high speed servo. Stay tuned next weekend!!!!!

verify you haven't over tightened the screws circled in red, the bell cranks should slide effortlessly from side to side without any binding as you tilt the chassis back and forth. Most brands of cars I have raced will supply narrow "crush washers" to prevent the cap of the screw head to bind with the bearings.

I prefer to use a Blue Gel Based thread lock to ensure the screws don't back out if they are going into aluminum steering posts:

If you guys have this servo set up screwed in would you still use double sided tape?

Second question…..I have a 13.5turn reedy sp5 motor. The 78 spur gear is on, what number pinion gear would perform best…..

Servo tape is a thing of the past, no longer used in modern buggies. I highly recommend replacing the button head screws included in the kit with tapered flat head screws which force the servo tabs to be centered on each screw head instead ;)

per the manual:

Soldering a reedy 610 black box to reedy SP5 13.5t.
Motor has ABC and esc has orange, yellow, blue.
Been researching it online, but got confused with people talking about sensorless and sensored

I’m just trying to figure out which color goes to which terminal on the motor
