yes you did.. the RTR versions of many kits.. are a cheaper.. with not all the bells and wistles.. like the aluminum chassis braces.. or the good shocks.. or the nice lightweight chassis..
For instance. Hyper 7 Pro, has alot of purple aluminum, thicker shocktowers.. purple chassis braces.. carbon fiber radio tray, center brace, and front brace.. has better diffs.. the RTR, has standard diffs.. regular aluminum trays, regular chassis braces.. that sorta deal
Kyosho Sports.. plastic spur gear, weak shocks, weak towers, 2 planetary gear diffs, with aluminum ring and pinion, different chassis.. where you can't run a different motor.. cuz the clutchbell rubs on the chassis.. the Inferno, has the thicker shock towers, better diffs.. harden steel ring and pinion, steel spur gear, and so on.. so yes.. and RTR buggy is a good starter buggy.. and can be upgraded..
