Here's one for ya. I got my new 4-tech 3.3 up and runniNg today and was breaking it in according to Traxxas. (It is sick fast) On the final tank you have to get it to full throttle and hold it for 2 seconds I think. Well, I was in the parking lot at my church and was running the car toward me and the brakes were not as good as when I first started the process. So, the car is coming toward me at a high rate of speed and I tried to lift my foot to get it out of the way and you guessed it, car slammed into the front of my foot and broke my big toe. Bent the nail back, so I'm writing from bed with my foot up on ice. NOW THAT'S A NEW BREAKIN PROCESS! LOL

PS The car is fine! Great job Traxxas!

I hope you get well. Is the 4-Tech as fast as advertised?? My brother-in-law got one for my 15yo nephew but he got grounded and guess... yep he still hasnt taken the car out of the box yet.

It is that fast!!! It will get away from you quick!!! My toe hurts and is turning black but I'll be running it again after church tomorrow! I'll stay out of the way, for sure! LOL

Thats funny. I broke my revo 3.3 in a church parking lot. When I was on my fith tank and it was scaring me how fast it was going. However I have no broken bones to show for it.

What's really funny is, my wife called the hospital to see if there was anything we could do and told them I got hit by a little car!!! LOL LOL LOL

I need to find the formula for calculating speed. But, It is crazy fast!

OOH! I know. Run the car between two lines at a set distance apart (100 feet) and time how long it takes, then divide the distance by the time (in seconds) and you got your answer in feet per second. To convert to mph divide that # by 5280. So going 100' in 2 seconds would be 50 fps....

Wait a minute... am I doing this right?

Or you could pay a few dollars for that ridiculous hotwheels radar gun at walmart.

keith has a radar gun, but he works all the time and never "plays" with us..

did you get your rc10 yet?

i knew i shoulda came over there today, it kept raining off and on here so i didnt.

I know I know! I did get my rc10 but I'm waiting for a receiver. We will be running today around 3 or 4 so come out if you get a chance.
