Need to vent.

Well here is the story.I got paid yesterday so i went to buy a hpi Rs4 SS Nitro on-road,well i went to Hobby hut and they did not have it. So we took a drive up to reading to the HobbyTownUsa up there,they had it but the box was open,so i looked in it to see if everything was there and the big bag of parts was still closed. So i bought it and brought it home and started taking everything out of the box, and guess what there is no freaking engine :flaming:. So i get on the phone and call HobbyTown,and the are closed so i leave a nice little message on their machine.So hopefully they call me tommorrow and dont give me any poop about it or they will have there hands full.

Before you jump the gun, is it a kit?
If it is, (I don't know much about HPI) does the engine come with the kit??

Yes it is a kit but right on the box and on Hpi's website it says include .12ss engine.
I am hoping the call me tommorow i would love to have the engine tommorrow afternoon after i get back from the Airplane/Heli field.

The RS4 SS does include an engine the only 1/10 scale on road kit that HPI sells without a motor is the R-40.

But I would still try and talk to them politely first. I know if it were me and you jumped my poop before giving me a chance to make it right you would then have a hell of a time getting anything from me. Just my

Yea i aint gonna be nasty about it.But if they give me poop about it then there will be a problem. For one they will then lose and bunch of customers.....

I wouldn't sweat it. I'm sure you'll get a mill. They probably stole it to sell serperately and never ordered one to replace it. Make sure you talk to the owner or somebody who probably knows about other happenings.

Well i just got backf rom Hobbytown and i got aa new engine,When i got there i took the whole car in and everything well the car is assembled and all except for the engine.So when we get there upon inspections we are also missing the clutch bell,flywheel,fuel tubing and other misc. stuff that come in that bag.So the asst.manager called the mananger and asked what to do and he said take the parts from another kit and give it to them.But one thing i forgot was when we got the car the box was not sealed the big ol bag of parts was though so they think someone stole the parts.
Well i am happy now

They should have given you a whole new sealed kit. That way you would be sure you had everything.

They wanted to but i had the kit totally built so they just gave me the parts i needed and i left...

Yea Lost gas,time and had to drop out of the race i had entered since it took them a long time to make a decison so i had no time to brake the engine in or anything.I was a lil pissed off at that point.
