I am doing a search but woulld like to no what my buddies here think of this truggy Hot Bodies Lightning Stadium Pro .It has a front chassis brace, 23 mm hexes, hot bodies pipe, omega 21 modded but he said the engine is a axial .28.I want it for racing mainley and some bashing. If I am not a good racer :D then I would bash with it.Thanks Wayne

I have heard that the HB Truggy is just OK. Not great...not crap...just OK.

It would be a good entry level racer, but I would not waste a lot of money on it. You'll outgrow it quickly if you get bitten by the racing bug.

Here is what he has done to it.it has an omega 21 x3 modded, its been ported and polished, runs like a beast! amazing power. motor is a bump start motor. its got aftermarket front chassis brace, it has the 23 mm. integy hex hubs. white 40 series dish wheels with bowties with about 40-50 % tread. it has a kyosho perfex throttle servo, and a ko propo metal geared high torque servo for steering, aluminum shock ends, high performance shocks, an extra used chassis, stock body and aluminum a-arms all around. kept clean. runs great

Those Omega engines run great even unmodded. What is his price? Sadly if he wants more than 275, it's not worth it.

How much is he asking? Upgrades on it sound pretty good (except the Integy hubs lol), but if he wants $400 for it...then I would look elsewhere. I scored my XRay XT8 roller (with Jammin Big Bores installed) for under $200 and added a motor for $85 used (LRP 28 Spec 3).

I believe he wants around 300 for it.Are those bump box starters very difficult? I have never seen one being used?Yhea he said it is hella of fast the way its set up. He said it jumps very smooth with great landings. He has raced for aroung 8 seasons and this one is his smallest one he has HPI and Jammin. Scrogg you been doing this for a bit I will post a pic if I can.

Bump Boxes are easy to get used to really. I just started using one a few weeks ago. I was a bit confused at first...and had it spinning the wrong way, but I got it all figured out pretty quickly.

He mentioned one.I just wonder if he is going to include it. What kind of batteries does it use?

Depends on the box. I can use 2 7.2V packs or a Gel Cell in mine. Some will use LiPO as well.

it is a good entry level truggy....but like was said you will out grow it fast. there is only one thing on this set-up i don't like, the 40 series wheels and the 23 mm hexs. besides that it sounds like a excellent deal if the starter box is included. if you get the box set right it is so easy to start. i have 2 jammin truggies one x1 crt and a x2 crt and with both boxes all i have to do is put my plug heater on and push down. a one hand operation.
