Need some prayers

My youngest daughter fell out of her sister's window this afternoon. It was hot as hell today and the window was open. She was playing with her sister on her sister's bed and fell through the screen to a 5 foot drop on the cement outside. She lost consciousness for about three minutes and then started to drift in and out. The paramedics came and they airlifted her to the nearest hospital. I was on my way home when I got the call from her frantic mom and rushed over to the ER. I wanted to cry so bad when I saw my little girl. Her skull is fractured above her right eye and she had some bad scrapes on her head and neck. She was completely immobilized and crying but when she saw me she calmed down and said "daddy, daddy". The CT scan shows she has some bleeding in the brain. They are monitoring her very closely in pediatric ICU and she is getting another CT scan in a few hours to make sure the bleeding does not get worse. Her mom is staying overnight with her at the hospital. I am at home watching our other daughter.

Please pray for her and keep my baby girl in your thoughts. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before and I'm trying really hard to keep it together.

Jesus. There is nothing as scary as seeing your little one get seriously hurt. Makes you feel completely impotent and useless and you'd do *anything* to make it better. I had my own run-in with a serious head injury on my (then) 3yr old son. My thoughts are with you Dom.

Just remember that kids are resilient little buggers. Before you know it she'll hopefully be up and running around like nothing happened. Please let us know if you need anything.

And tell your little one that a bunch of grown-ups who like to play with cars like Daddy are sending her good thoughts to get better soon.

They did another CT scan at midnight and the bleeding has not gotten worse. They haven't let her eat anything this entire time. She was kicking and screaming really badly last night so they gave her morphine so she could sleep. I'm waiting for the wife to call me this morning so I can get another update.

I know I would loose my mind if anything happened to my kids, so I understand what you are going through. All my best.

Oh my!!! I am so sorry to here this i so hope she gets better soon. My father is the paster of our church. and i will ask him to have her in everyones prayers.
