good to hear the bleeding hasnt gotten worse. prayers are with your family for sure.

I'll be praying for her. I can't imagine what this is like for you guys. Keep us updated

Josie aka Jo Jo is 22 months old. Her mom just called and the doctors want to keep her for another night. I didn't get any more details as her cell phone ran out of batteries in mid conversation. I'm heading back to the hospital right now.

Thanks again guys, your words help keep us strong.

That's got to be the scariest thing to happen to a parent/child. You all will be in my prayers. Please let me know if there's anything that I can do. I know these times can be stressfull in many ways so don't hesitate to ask.

Hopefully she will be able to come home asap and be back up and running around soon after. Hang in there my friend!

Wow Dom, I felt really bad when I first read this last night but I thought she was older, Only 22months! She's not even 2 years old! I will pray for you and her and your whole family.

May God be with you and your Daughter.

If there is anything I can do, let me know.

Wow...thats all i can say.
my family's prayers and thoughts are with you and your little girl.

I saw the thread title and went directly to it. My heart sank when I read it, but knowing how many thoughts and prayers went out to her lifted my spirits. Electing to keep here for another night is a very good indication that she'll be okay to go home soon. We all have a lot to be thankful for.

Man, that really f'n sucks. What a poopy b-day present :( My prayers go out to you man, and I wish you good luck. I sincerely hope nothing permanent arises from this!

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I know all too well how helpless you feel when your child is hurting. Keep your cool and a clear head. Your wife and children need your strength right now. Again, if you need ANYTHING, please don't hesitate to contact one of us here at RCNT..

My thoughts and prayers are with your daughter and your family!
Your family here at RCNT has your back, let us know if there is any thing we can do to help.

I always hate seeing threads titled in need of prayer but it really hurts seeing soemthing about a little child like your daughter. I'm ALWAYS one to pray about them and you can bet I'm praying for her and you and your family Dom. I hope her condition is improving!

Josie came home last night! She was able to hold down food and her senses all responded normally so they decided to release her. The neurologist said she is going to recover just fine and the plastic surgeon said her skull should heal normally as well. The fracture was the best kind in that it did not cave in or separate. The ophthalmologist said her eyes looked good as well. For now she will be following up regularly with a neurologist to ensure her condition continues to improve.

She is acting like she was before the accident which is a very good sign. Her right eye is swollen shut and there is a lot of bruising but that just takes time to heal. She slept pretty well last night in her own crib, and only woke up once from pain. We are all very happy and relieved that she is home and we have a very positive outlook for her.

Thank you to all for your thoughts and prayers. I know they had a big part in getting our family through this accident. This by far has been the scariest days of my life and your words have played a big part in helping me get through it. Thank you. :)

congrats man, i am so relieved she is going well. i hope she has no lasting marks from this and you guys can go back to your normal lives. your RC family will be here if needed!

Fantastic news Dom!

Kids are much tougher than adults. In a few weeks, you won't even know anything ever happened.

thats awesome news Dom!!! so glad to hear that, atleast you and the wife can get some rest now not worrying as much.
