Ok the other day I decided to run the Rusty, fully charged batteries and ready to go. I hit the throttle and nothing happens, steering works but thats it. So I take the motor out so it doesn't have the load of turning the tires and it will work only if I hold it a certain way I'm thinking bad brushes? and it barely will go. So I put back in the stock stinger motor which I have never used bought it used on ebay couple yrs ago. And it will run but not real fast and it burns through a battery in a couple minutes. Could this be from a bad motor? I dont have another one to try out so I dunno. It has a F1 speed control with unlimited turn access and it seem to be working fine . I'm hoping/thinking I just happen to have two bad motors. I was also wondering if anyone has a motor that still has some life they want to part with ? I'm strapped for cash so looking for something cheap to get this baby going again if thats the problem that is. Anyway let me know what ya have and what you might want for it. Thanks

Jesse

I might have a motor lying around. I will go check some boxes. I got rid of a bunch of that stuff a while back so I dont know if I still have it, but I will let you know.

could be your batteries. if the stock motor burns through them quick it could be the batteries. One of my friends has an hpi sprint and one battery will run for like 15 minutes and the other will run for like 2 minutes max.

Sorry man I must have got rid of them, If I find them I will let you know but they could be anywhere or gone. Sounds like Eddy can hook you up though.

Jesse, let me look around. I might have one you can have. You might also try getting some electric motor cleaner and oil and just clean the coils and brushes off. You don't even need to take the can off, just spray some cleaner down through one of the holes until it runs clear, then take some Trinity motor oil and put it in there. That may help until you can get a new one or one rebuilt.

Hey no problem thanks for looking :) It looks like Eddy will be able to possibly help me out with one of my motors :).

If you happen to have one that would be cool :). I might give that a try with the spray with the stock traxxas motor, Eddy says it can't be rebuild because of the design of it. Thanks guys
