You may recall me saying that i'm never buying anything off ebay again but after getting the schumacher and it working perfect my faith has regained (alittle) in ebay and so I'm on the prawl again... searching ebay for a savage.. i've come accross two that take my fancy...

scrap the 1st one i didn't see the pull start before.. no pull start for me!

You beat me to scrapping the 1st. The 2nd is an attractive truck. Looks like it has everything needed to get going. And it looks in decent condition. I say give it a shot.

I checked out the 2nd link, and that one seems to be in very good condition with lots of extra parts and good add-ons.
There are almost 5 days left on the auction, so expect the price to go up. Definitely keep an eye on this one.

If it is that motors worth 150 pounds. I know its a pull start but that thing will haul.
Wonder how much to ship to Aus......

It looks to me like the owner has taken very good care of it, and there's a lot of stuff that he's listed. I know over here, that aluminum stand alone would sell for $100 US if it was for a baja 5b. I looked at all the trucks that you've posted, and the truck that I put the link to is really the only one that I would feel comfortable in telling you to get it. It's in excellent shape and has been well taken care of, and I would even say buy that one if it didn't have a motor, because you can always pick up a new motor for $100 or less, but trucks that have been well taken care of are hard to find. I sold a Savage X SS that I built. It only had about 10 minutes on it after break in, but other than that it was similar to that truck because of the way that I took care of it. I sold it with all the accessories and got $500 for it, sold it as soon as I mentioned that I might sell it, and there were plenty more people begging for it. I just wanted to let you know that so that you could see how much some people will pay for a truck that has had good care taken of it.

man i called the guy up yesterday cuz he has his number on his auction and he said for £300 he would sell it too me and deliver but then i thought it was too much...now reading what you guys have said about it,i called him back up to buy it but he said he now has 1 bid and so can't end it..well he said he could but it would look bad on him plus he has lots of watchers.. i think i blew my chances...again
what do you think of 'the bounty hunter' the one with the nosram motor.. it finishes soon and is only £64 right now....

For that price you couldnt lose. It wont have been treated anywhere near as good as the other one, but still worth probably 160 170. Of course thats assuming it has all the radio gear, and the batteries and stuff for the rotostart.

it doesn't state it has batteries for the roto start so i messaged thru ebay and asked if it comes with the battery and he said 'as mentioned comes with roto start'

so still unclear if it has the battery or not.. he also wants collection only and i asked if he would post.. he said if he could find a box big enough...
some people are weird!
