The HoBao brand was picked up by HPI Racing back in November and they might not selling parts for them just yet. But you can ask http://www.hpiracing.com/home/

You may check with Ofna to see if they still have parts for them. Ofna was the importer for the HoBao brand up until now. http://www.ofna.com/

You can also check with a Japanese company called RCMart they will ship parts to the USA and other countries. I have ordered parts from this past spring for my Mugen MTX-3 and have nothing bad to say about their customer service. All comunications are by email.

The other option is buy a Starter Box and I own one of these. They work better with a 12 Volt Tractor battery or a 12volt Gell Cell then they do with stick packs.

Thank you i appreciate the help i think its a aftermarket motor replaced by the previous ower, i am thinking about the starter box do you know if it causes premature wear like the electric start drills ?

Starter boxes last a fairly long time and the wear is on the the rubber wheel that spins the engine over. They do not cause excessive wear on the engine and it is a rubber wheel that contacts the flywheel.

It contacts the flywheel on the engine and provides a much cleaner and consistent start then the pull starters do. The hard part is adjusting the starter box to fit your R/C and once adjusted properly they work very well. The one I suggested is inexpensive and has 2 550 motors to turn over engines up to a .21. There are others with dual 775 motors for engines larger then a .21. My other starter box has one huge motor and is about 11 years old.

Many Kit R/Cs cannot use engines with pull starters and require a starter box. I have a Team GT2 and a Mugen MTX-3 that require a starter box. Both engines are hard to turn over because they have Turbo Plugs and high compression.

Starter boxes are much better to use & easier. Hobao might still make one, not sure though, I had it for my Hyper 7 PCR, it was an rtr with pull start but after breaking a couple of them I got the box, it was a 12v one though so I had one of them small jump starter setups for a 1:1 car that I hooked the box up to. I think OFNA have a box that would suit but it is just a rebadged version of another brand, think it has 2 775 motors. I actually have to get 1 as it can be set up to suit my JQ Products buggy.

As for PRP, I tried to find some info, all I could come up with was a PRP swift 1/8 scale buggy for sale advert on rc tech from 2004, but not sure on engine in it & an ebay add for a used PRP .21 like yours with pullstart for $50, that same seller was also selling a swift 1/8 nitro buggy. so maybe the engine is the rtr swift engine, if so then you probably won't find any parts unless you can find used parts on ebay.
You might be better off getting yourself a new better engine.
