Have a nitro 4.6 savage all it does is spin won't fire

Hi, have you checked your glow plug. Also maybe the third needle, middle needle needs to be richened until it's flush with the the border of the carb. Also make sure that your glow igniter is charged. Make sure there are no cuts in your fuel line, make sure that your high speed needle is not completely closed. Other thank that it should fire up.

Unless the one way is slipping, is the crankshaft spinning also.

It's true forgot that sometime it could be only the hex that is cracked.

What do you mean by "spin but won't fire" is this for the engine or for the buggies drive system?
If the engine runs fine but the car won't move pinpoint it down to where it stops moving (if you get what I mean), also check any diffs and clutch springs or clutch shoes.
If the engine won't start, then check the glow plug and charger, try heating it with a hair dryer and increasing the idle.

Are you hearing the 'thump, thump, thump' sounds when it's spinning? If it just seems to be a free spin, then the problem is your OWB.
You'll need to remove it, make sure it's not cracked, and if it looks ok soak it and slosh it around in alcohol. Clean the shaft as well, blow the bearing dry and make sure you put it back facing in the same direction it came off.
