alright electric guys, i really need your help on this.
As some of you guys know i just made the switch to lipo batteries and so far i'm happy. but with anything new and unfamiliar comes questions so here goes.
My lhs only carries losi and venom lipo batteries so my choics were limited. I bought 2 Losi 7.4v 5000mah batteries (exact specs are 7.4v, 2 cell, 2s configuration, 35c mac burst, 20c continuous burst). these batteries have a balancing port that basically looks like a standard mini-t battery lead. the small 3 wire/3 pin plug.
my question is, how do i balance these batteries? I'm using a brand new hyperion dual charger but none of the balance taps fit these losi plugs. Does any know if there is an adaptor that works with the 2s port on the hyperion charger? i called losi and they said to use a 2 cell plug from an e-flight pack, but those dont fit either. my lhs is telling me he can swap out the losi balance plug with an aftermarket one, but i'm not so sure.
help me put electic guys
