Need help Quick status.

Hey guys I'm rebuilding my friends sport maxx and I'm going threw the motor and can't see to get the piston and sleeve out. I did a quick search but can't find anything. The p/s seems ok I'm just not shrue how to remove them. Any help is great. Thanks for your time.

P.S. Rc driver did a rebuild in one of there older mags i can't seem to find a link if one of you have that that would be a big help.

Take a ty-wrap and stick it through the exhaust port and turn the crank, the piston will catch the ty-wrap and push the sleeve up with it. Sometimes you'll need to double up the wrap.

THe whole zip tie thing didnt work what else and how do it get the piston out. Just pull on the bottem of the crank shaft or what? Its funny I've doen this before but i fogot it was so long ago.

Ok i just got the piston out with the zip ty thing once it got up high enough i grabed the top with a pair of chanel locks and pulled as hard as i could. SO now I'm stuck and scratching my head how do i get the piston out?
