Dang not sure what to tell my buddy, thought he got a nice 1/8 and now I have to tell him I can’t find parts lol. We don’t live near a hobby shop so I’ll have to measure and pray when I order anything lol. I’m hoping since it looks like a Losi the parts will work lol. He won’t tell me how much he paid for it so maybe it wont be a big let down
What parts does it need?

Both shock mounts are bent and all the axle cups at worn bad. Dog bones look fine and everything seems pretty universal except motor mount. It needs some kind of brace for the motor to make it a good basher.
Only real concern is this is my friends first real rc so I don’t want him getting bummed out when it breaks and we can’t find replacement parts

Drive cups (from my experience) are interchangeable for the most part, as long as you just find ones with the right hole diameter and make sure they're spaced right. For example, I used TLR diff cups on my Arrma Granite Voltage.
Some of the other guys here can go a bit more into detail on that.
As for shock mounts... I don't quite know what you mean. Is it the shock towers, or the rod ends?

Is this/was this going to be your buddy's first RC?
Can you even find the manual? I could not.

I would tear it down, clean the parts up, and reassemble it. Replace what you can that needs replaced, and sell it. Then tell him to take that money and go buy an RC with parts support. Starting in this hobby with an RC you can't get parts for will suck, and may end his RC journey abruptly for good. But if he gets a decent RC to start out with, he may find a lifetime of enjoyment in the hobby.

Or, if you can find a couple sliders of the same car in decent shape, you can be your own parts support. But this one is pretty obscure it seems, so I bet that isn't much of an option.

Sorry meant shock towers, was a very confusing day. My friend was totally bummed and thought he got a great deal. He’s just out of shape because the company shut down and he has the Chevy/Ford mind set (can’t use ford parts on a Chevy), but he will see that parts can be interchangeable. The shock towers look just like 8ight’s front towers so I ordered 2 of those.
Appreciate all the help, I’ll keep everyone posted on the future of the build.

Let him (Lawrence) bash with my Granite for a while today and he blew a tire to bits lol, once he got the transmitter in his hand he was hooked lol.

I can’t even find a single part, I spent most of the day in my office on google trying to find anything about the company lol. I told him just to bend it, break it and move on. It has all the parts except electronics so I can make it work then send it to the moon hahahaha

So how much did he pay for that RC? Just curious.
He won’t tell me, he just says he got excited. I think at least a couple hundred….. he dropped a hint when I told him how much my Granite cost rtr. He said with just motor and esc to buy he will have more in his lol. I gave him 35kg servo and trans/receiver to ease the pain lol

If he paid $200 for that, he paid about $150 too much, unfortunately.

Well I got my 3s granite on sale at HobbyTown in Milwaukee for $249 and he looked sick when I told him lol. I think he seen the anodized everything and got overwhelmed lol. He’s a really nice dude so I’m trying to be easy on him.

Finally got the full story from Lawrence. He paid $170 on eBay because it was advertised as a 1/8 Losi. He was looking at them online new and thought he found a good deal. Not knowing enough he believed the seller. He said he’s trying to return it but the seller is fighting it. I’m going to put my esc and what ever else he needs in so he can use it. Maybe that will take away a little of the frustration.

I'd contact ebay. Technically it's not a losi.

Exactly as Chewy said, get ebay involved. That's not a Losi, so the seller misrepresented the item. They should give him a refund after returning the RC.

Another update on the Liesi…. Get it when you combing lie and Losi hahahaha I kill me. So EBay wont get involved until April 1st. The seller is refusing to work it out or take it back. I looked at the sellers page and he sells rc parts and rollers so I would think he wouldn’t want an angry customer. Lawrence is going to come over to the house this weekend so I can show him what needs done and help him.

Whatever you do, don't wrench on it until you figure out if you gotta send it back. If the seller finds one thing you did to it, he can use that to screw your friend over.

Lawrence and the eBay seller came to an agreement for a better deal so I started to work on it today. Only thing I’m missing is a metric pinion. I have probably 100 spurs and pinions but nothing that fits this weird headache lol. Build consists of a Turnigy 2100kv motor and 120 amp esc, Hexfly 25kg servo, Hobbytown big bore shocks, and Spektrum trans/rec. Not sure which body it will get.
