ok i need some help choosing which one to buy. i don't know if i should buy the Traxxas SportMaxx 2.5 RTR w/3-Channel Radio or the HPI RTR Nitro RS4 MT 2. I'm looking for speed and i am not racing just using around for jumping, speed, and some small hillclimbs I'm not rock climbing or anything thing like that. and also which one will last longer, and is better quailty.

short answer, HPI.

Long answer, anything other than a Maxx.

You'll find that the HPI, out of the box, can take more of a beating than a maxx.

The sportmaxx's 2 wheel drive. Out of them two choices, Id go with the HPI.

Not unless you are good at shoehorning things in, try looking at the 18ss version of the MT.

I'd just get the truck first and concentrate on learning how to break it in, maintain it and the like before you go throwing bigger engines into it. Trust me, there's a lot more involved than just replacing an engine.

ya, i know i was just wondering. the directions say how many tanks of gas u need to go threw before it is broken in right?

Use the search feature, there are a couple of meathods for breaking in an engine. The search feature can be your friend, ask any qestions you don't understand. Good luck.
