Hey everyone,

About two years ago, I was really big into the whole RC thing. I had quite the RC collection. I then got out of it to focus my time and money elsewhere. Lately, I've stumbled upon quite a bit of cash, and want to get back into the RC scene.

Two buddies of mine have recently purchased buggies. One purchased an Ofna Ravager, and the other an Ofna Ultra MBX Competition w/powerstart. I dont particularly want to get the same buggy as them, so I need a little bit of help deciding on a buggy.

My price limit as of right now is about $400 for just the buggy, and it has to be RTR.

I've considered a couple:

1.http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMAC4&P=0

2.http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGCY8&P=0

3.http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAXV1&P=0

4.http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKBE6&P=7

Those buggies all seem nice at first glance. Which would you all prefer? I'm having a hard time deciding on a better buggy. Any help would be appreciated. I won't be using it for racing, just the regular old street and dirt bashing. Since they're all relatively cheap, I'd like to know which one is the best overall buggy. Thanks.

Out of the group, the Hyper 7 (#1) would be my choice. Tons of parts availlable, and it's nimble enough to race, if you ever got that urge.

Go with the Hyper 7 PBS with the .28, the first one you linked to. That is a great beginner buggy and is very capable and very strong. If your limit is $400 I think that that is the buggy for you.

I agree with both of them GET THE HYPER 7 PBS, Mine is a tank it is awsome easy to work on, awsome both on and off the track, I couldnt be happier.

and with the hyper you will be smoking you buddies. especialy when they are done for the day due to broken parts.

Thanks alot guys, I'l go with the Hyper 7. Is there anything that you recommend that I buy right now? So far in my car I have:

1. Hyper 7
2. After Run Oil
3. Air Filter Oil
4. Spare O.S #8 Glow Plug
5. Glow igniter w/meter

Fuel might help lol.
Failsafe MUSTMUSTMUST
Some sort of temp gun.

Haha I'm picking up fuel at the lhs because I'd like to stick to one brand, and my lhs doesn't carry most of the brands on tower.

yup, get that hyper 7 with mach .28 I just got mine and its crazy. I have a video of it and my savage in the videos section if you want to check it out in some action.
