Does it burn when you pee? If it does, it has nothing to do with the computer but you may want to get an appointment with your doctor.

Have you had a change in your bowel movements? Are you more irritable than normal?
Have you had an erection lasting longer than 4 hours?

i did a little googleing. then i looked up your issue.

try this.

Issues with the right-click context menu not working can be caused by the Yahoo Toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

or just uninstall it from add/remove

may also be google toolbar.

may have to restart browser after disabling.

looks like there is a tool bar with yahoo on it. lol. I know nothing about computers, so excuse my ignorance.

on firefox at the top. click on tools. then in that menu, click on add ons, then in that window you should see a tab called extensions. see if yahoo is listed in there. if so click on it and either disable or remove.

if that fails, go to the control pannel, to add/remove programs ("programs and features" on vista) find yahoo toolbar in the list and click on it and hit remove.

Excellent. Yahoo has caused me so many problems in years past that I remove anything related. Sometimes they force themselves into your toolbar during another installation.

LMFAO!!!:hehe:

I deleted my last post yesterday. Ironically Firefox continued to work on this site, but I was unable to open another to find something on the internet. When I closed RCNT, I couldn't get on Firefox with either the desktop icon, the favorites key to this site or the Web/Home hot key.
I posted the problem here using Google chrome. I decided to try a reboot, and that corrected it. There was an application of FF that couldn't close, still running, and that's what locked it up.
It never happened before, and my shortcut had nothing to do with FF.

Just got on again, almost 2 hours after the above post, and once again, I have the same problem. I'm on Chrome, and FF will not open.

Well, I've now switched my default browser to Google Chrome. After some research, deleting, reinstalling, backing up and system restoring, I had the same problem.
It's become a common problem since the last upgrade, with no known cure as yet. Every comment I read ended with "Switched to Opera" or Chrome or IE, etc.

I've had the same problem on my computer. I had to go into the program manager and manually kill the process "Firefox.exe" to get it to open again. When I updated to the latest version, it stopped doing that.

Mine dose that every once in a while but, I am running scripts on facebook and such. have you tried going back to 3.6?

That's exactly what I had to do. If I went to shut off the computer I got a notice that firefox was open and did I want it to open to the same page on restart. I could not find any indication that it was running, but had to close manually.
Mine started after the last upgrade.
I'm done with it. I've set up Google Chrome with the plug ins I need and I'm happy with it.

I've had a some issues with mine since the last update too.

Closed it once. Went to get on again, said it was still running. No sign of it in the task manager. After restarting the computer, I was able to open it. Seems like it is slower now too. Listening to 1clubfm just now and couldn't switch stations until I closed it.

Last time I updated IE, I had problems. Don't remember what they were. But I quit using it and went to firefox.

Since we are on the subject and you seem to have fixed your problem..
I've been wondering for sometime if the security on mine was enough.

For now I'm using Firefox, AVG, ZoneAlarm and WinPatrol.
ZoneAlarm pops up anytime something tries to connect that isn't in my list.
If anything runs on start up different, WinPatrol pops up. Also if something wants to change my defaults settings.

Right now I can't get FF to start at all, and it's not even listen in applications in Task manager. I guess I'd have to do a reboot to get it started. I've been on for hours trying to get Chrome set up to my liking, but there are some things that just aren't available yet. I want no part of IE.

Your security sounds good for any on line browsing. I'm running several programs and have never had a virus in any computer that made it past the warning pop up.
I've dumped Norton after 10 years and now use Avast. VERY effective, fully automated and NOT a memory hog like Symantec.
