well after issues at the track yesterday w/a couple of less than good parts on the SUT. i went and got some of the pro parts for it, as well as some lil necessary things, couple spares. machined knuckles, machined kingpin holders, shock shafts (2 use instead of dinky outer hingepins), brake pads, bellcrank bearings etc. that was from rc-nation.com.

then 2nite i'm on tower lookin at my wish list. and doin all the math, they were really killin me on the starter box. i originally was gonna take the box as the big item. but after shipping costs 4get it. glad i did (more later). so i put the 969 charger back in and ordered that. got the shipping free w/that discount essentially. more odds n ends, nuts/bolts, misc stuff, charge leads, a new soldering iron i need, bearing oil.... etc etc.

well glad i didnt buy the box. lookin around and stormer had it far cheaper (like tower is asleep or had an older version or something). b/c hte same box (same part# and all) was 30 cheaper and they werent killin on shipping. so i bought it there (the ofna w/pp, glow, and batt RTR #10249 i think it is).

Yeah,it does get pricey. But OHHH so fun. I could spend more in the winter w/o driving them than during the season.

i just plopped down 620 for an xb8...175 for a top 21 i didnt need and 100 for a spare vzb and i think my wife is ready to kill me...lol

oh and a jp2 pipe and werks clutch...lol....she went nuts over those...

but like FASTEDDY said....its only money and if ya died tommorrow someone else will spend it....lol
