Truely inspiring jeep. I've been wanting to do this ever since i go my revo but.... I'm to poor, inexperienced, and i dont really have the time. The jeep looks really sick. i can't wait to see the finished product.

Well look at that, it's about time! Guess it's time for my own little RCNT garage sale, lol.

Hey Smaxxin, you interested in some old rare Jeff Gordon Die cast :D

BTW Mr smart guy, I have still been working on it. I have started building the interior, made a dash, floor, and firewall, all from styrene. I am still working on the dash, trying to figure out the best way to make guages and for it, gonna add an oh poop bar to it too.

Almost a month and no progress? I keep looking at those mud slingers, they are nice! I plan on buying new rubber after Christmas, I'm torn between the slingers and the rock stompers, both sweet tires IMO.

LOL, Thanks SM.

I had been waiting on the axial axles to be released, but with them now finally being released but so close to Christmas looks like I will have to wait untill after the holidays to get the axles and tranny. I have two young sons and a wife that will all be expecting a visit from Santa Clause here real soon, so unfortunately there is no fun money for my tuber project at the moment.

I did however just finish making a fire extinguisher for the interior, and I have started building the firewalls, and dash. Just a little of the detail stuff that I can make with stuff I already have laying around.

Heres a pic of the extinguisher I just finished. This was my first attempt at making a fire extinguisher, it came out ok but there is a few things I am not real happy with, so I am sure the next one will be better. I actually already made the trigger handles smaller than they are in the pics, and that helped out tremendously.

Have you seen the newest tire from RC4WD yet?

Rock Crushers

Those are also some sweet looking tires. If RC4WD keeps pumping out tires like these, slingers, and stompers, they are gonna put a hurtin on the big name tire guys. I really like the more realistic tread patterns of the RC4WD tires over just about all the other tires on the market. I really wish they would make some slingers in standard maxx size, they would be on my Savage and my maxx. I am pretty sure they are gonna be making them in Clod size though, if so a set will definately be going on my crawler on my JPS rims.

Just another super detail that makes it almost real. Beautiful touch. Where did you get the Recaro seats?
By the way, I just did the fender flares with the spray Plasti Dip last night. What a great look. Thanks for that tip.l

Yea no play money until after Christmas for me neither....BTW, the fire extinguisher looks great, nice work!

The rock crushers are as big as the stompers...nice! RC4WD has some great stuff but it's hard to get sometimes. I tried ordering from them twice and both times the items I wanted were out of stock even though the store said the parts were in stock.

Thanks for the compliments on the extinguisher guys!

Rolex, the seats came from Amazon.com

Smaxxin, try ordering from this site. I have not had any problems ordering here.

I knew I saw those seats before. I remember I had one of those to hold my phone. LOL Pretty neat idea using them in your project! Great job man. Articulate and just amazing.

Your slipping bro, 3 months and no progress? This is starting to look like the Chris-Craft build!
