Hi,

I am new to this hobby and read up on it. I successfully managed to do everything but to have control of the car! Once I start the engine the buggy zooms of straight away and I have no control of the speed! HELP ASAP?!?!?

Thanks,

Callum

check the idle screw, the opening on the carb should be 1mm. Check the trimming on the remote if it is on neutral.

make sure your batteries are fully charged, the transmiiter is on before you start the car. and have a failsafe. Once youve done those things then start looking at the servo...if the servo functions correctly and doesn't do anything weird like stutter, wiggle back and forth, choppy movement etc then set your idle gap and all engine needles back to factory and retune. If it does it after setting the needles back to factory then look at your clutch.

Thanks, but there are 2 screws next to the carb! One is long and sticks out, the other doesn't! Also i can't find the gap in order to set it to 1mm

Pull the air filter off and look down the throat of the carb. That's where you will find the gap he is refering to.

Check and make sure that your throttle servo is not reversed and giving the vehicle throttle instead of brake.
