I had one briefly in my possession, and became addicted. So I couldnt stand it, and bought another one (well, actually traded my reflex for it).

Behold, the most technologically advanced rc car in the world - the SMP Slide.

If you havnt ever seen one of these in person, they are amazing. So many lightyears beyond the Serpent it is mind blowing. I am sure that if they didnt cost twice what the 950R does, there would be more of them, lol.

complete car, installed my RB S7 temporarily

This is the car that I need an engine for. I posted a thread about it, but got no response. Does anyone have a recommendation?

thanks strech. thing is just sic. i doubt it weighs more than my reflex, lol.

I know very little about onroad but if this is a better set up than the other 2 have I heard of then all that I can say is wow. What about a Rody C5?

WOW! What will he do next?

But you are wrong about one thing,
the most technologically advanced rc car in the world is a Traxass nitro 4tec,everyone knows this! I am sure that will be your next and final car, as always JK! I just love givin ya poop about it evertime you get another car!
Can wait to see that bad bitch run!

thanks guys. strech - i want the rody C5, but it is WAY too much money. I would be happy even with the regular C5 but the cheapest i can find it for is 424.00 and that is too much as well.

BTW - take a look at the last pic and u can see the comparison of sizes between the Slide bodies and the 8th scale buggy bodies. shows how big the damn thing really is.

Alot have the C5 Circuit and Rody C5. Others are using the CMB Raptor Evo 2, the Nova Mega SX21T MS, and some Paris modded Nova based mills. I have seen one RZ(VO1B) out there a few times as well. Most everyone is running some type of Serpent chassis, either the 950 or the Vector. A few have the MRX3 and I've seen a couple of Picco integra's out there too.

Nice Trade NA. But still upset u got rid of the reflex. What scale does NCNitro run?

This looks similar to what a lot of guys run at my local Scale RC Club and is why I am afraid to join them. I simply don't have the money to make one go. I'd probably have to trade all three of my rides to get into one of these. Newayz nice ride some video if you ever can would be kick ass. Later

team - ncnitro doesn't race on road, but he has a nice RS4 if i remember correctly. Wdavid, thanks for the props on the paint.

Humboldt - Irish Ed says it best, here is a quote:

CNC precision machined components, the 'CHROM V2003' is just a dream car to built and maintain. Chromium Plated Alloy Wishbones ensures precise geometry setting in comparison to the conventional plastic parts as used by other manufacturers. These chrome alloy wishbones are mounted on spherical sheer ball sockets ensuring optimum performance of the suspension geometry after being set-up. The simplicity of the Slide's design, allows adjustments and the replacement of components extremely easy, especially when you are trackside during an event.

The braking system is so well designed that the car is incredibly stable under heavy braking.

The steering is so positive that your turning point into corners is much later, mainly due to the response efficiency and accuracy of the steering geometry.

With the Accu-pack (battery pack) fitted into the chassis ensures the optimum lowest Centre of Gravity is achieved.

The V2003 is fitted with a modified rear anti-roll bar system. Any possibility of damage to the rear anti-roll bar has now been eliminated. Also the new set-up allows easier setting of the rear ride height by the provision of an adjustable rod which is positioned between the lower rear wishbone and the chassis plate. "Life becomes even easier with the Slide".

To drive any 1:8 scale On-Road car is exciting, but, to drive a Slide is unbelieveable, but, to drive the NEW V2003 Slide is the ultimate adrenelin rush. The balance and sheer perfection of design of this car will allow you to drive faster than you ever imagined.
