  1. Bashing
If i richen the hsn its slow and sputters the temp does lower but even then its not down between 200 and 225. I get Lots of blue smoke when I lean it out a bit and it hauls butt. But temp reaches 275,295.

How much fuel do you have through it? Picco's usualy take at least a gallon before you can tune for performance, the temps you are seeing could be from friction heat due to a tight pinch.

X2, patience. Try to keep it around 250 until it loosens up good.

Thanks I'm trying, today it ran a little hot 230 235 real sluggish alot of smoke like it is too rich on the top end. Maybe this buku pipe has somthing to do with it havnt got it dialed in exactly right either just another variable in the mix !!!

Hot on a picco is 280F+ most engines make the best power in the 250-270 range. That may seem a little high but that's what they seem to like.

Listen to Extreme. he is who I learned from.
Don't run it bogging and sluggish, hot and performing is better than not performing and cool.
If it is too rich, you are stressing the engine's internals. This is how a LOT of people break rods and crack pistons during the breakin process.
I do not know what fuel you are running but my two Picco's love(d) 30% fuel with 8-10% oil. They ran much cooler and tuned very easy.

I was lucky, during break in it hovered at 250 for about 1/2 gallon. then it started to loosen up and it would scream between 220-240.
The engine I am running now is fully broken in and runs really cool. It starts making power at 170F! I run it around 210-230 and average 10 minutes of runtime on 150cc of fuel. That's a good safe race tune for my engine.
But to prove Extreme's point, I put 10 different gallons of fuel through a NitroStar 25 that came in my Savage. I ran that puppy 280F all day long, it was still running properly when i sold it cheap to someone in need.

170F!!!!!!. . .thats practically cold and it starts to make power there. . .wow. . .mine was hovering around 245-250 while i was breakin it it and it is broke in now about half gallon through it as of now (slipper clutch blew out) so i can't run it at the moment, but i am gonna run about another half through it at those temps and then tune for power when i get more fuel. thanks for the info i appreciate it
