Or "How I got off my ass and painted something new"

It's an HPI 200mm BMW M5. All the panels and M5 logo were handcut using Dively's Liquid Mask. Shading is done with Pactra Transparent Smoke. The rest is Faskolor except the Alclad Chrome.

The pic kinda sucks. Having trouble getting the lighting right. I'll get some more soon as it's going up for sale.

thats pretty sweet! I like the rust on the M and the 5.. Nice touch.

DAmn, that would have been a cool idea. It's not rust. It's just something red reflecting in the chrome. Like I said, the pic kinda sucks.

That looks fantastic. Nice job.

DUDE that's tight. that's freakin amazing. Well done candyman, well done. Wish i had skills like that

Very Sweet ..
Never tried panels before but i might have to give it a whirl...
what did you use for the rivets?

A Black Sharpie is what most people use for rivets, I am guessing that is what he used.

Candyman, That is a sweet body I wish I had a airbrush i always wanted to do a panel theme. Very Cool

For the rivets I use an opaque paint pen. Pop in to Walmart or Michael's or any art store and you can find them in tons of colors. I have black and white that I use for some outlining and stuff, but they also come in silver and gold and some other colors. And they stick pretty well to the polycarbonate.
