My losi lst2 will not go into second gear

Anyone have any ideas I'm new to the rc word I had bad gears at first I changed em cause they was missing some teeth I cleaned and oiled everything but it just won't go into second gear any ideas

is it tuned rite or is the grub screw in the shift point to far in which makes it shift late are not at all. are to far out which makes it shift early and you wont even here it

Check your slipper. If it's too loose you might not engage second gear and I had this problem with my MGT 8.0.
