Well i was able to get it running to day, i went a head and got a synth. rx, Hopfully they will come out with a synth. module for the 3PK soon, if not Çh®i§tiªñ told me what kind will work in the 3PK. Sorry Waste Land no speaker wire, duck tape or paper clips on this one. I do stuff like that on my RTR's, not my K3, i want it to look and run good.
To those who asked, no i did not do anything to the kid to deserve this. And her parents did compensate me some, because yes it is also partly my fault for leaving it out, just that i am not used to having kids around.

Most of my ghetto fab fixes were just that. Most were in in a parking lot or ina dirt pit. I usually have ways to fix thigns right but everynow and then i just may need to fix that A arm with a zip time and continure bashing!

Well i will be sure to add a roll of speaker wire, duck tape and paper clips to me tool box. I have used zip ties before though.

I'm dead serious.....Speaker wire its a really good antenna. I"m not joking. With stock Rx and Tx and the speaker wire, I tested out the range by having Tyler hold the car and me run away with the Tx. I couldnt even see my house and it was picking up with no chatter or twitches....I need to make a video of it and stop being a lazy ass.

Hey man i am just messing with you, if it does work that's good and it does not cost anything to do yourself. With my rx though i dont want to open it and void the warranty, yes i could splice it but that is one more weak link.

I notice that you have the shock covers, are those better than the little ruber ones that just cover the shaft, some of my rubber ones make a tight fit at the shock body and at the bottom of the shaft and sometimes seems to cause suction, that could restrict the shock from extending. And are shock cover really neccesary, my 1:1 MT does not have shock covers, the shaft is exposed to the open air, and i take it off roading in sand and mud all the time and have never had a problem with my shocks.

Actually those just came int he mail about 2 hours ago. I rebuilt my shocks last night and did some oil upgrading and today i have all my stuff in and it rains like hell...I'll do a review and PM it to you tommorrow after me and RS43Drifter go run.

It's really a shame what happened, but if it's anyone's fault, it was the owner since he left the r/c out (I know that sounds horrible)...

WHat happend to your RC sucks big donkey dik but hey, chit happens. Just feel fortunate that she didn't destory the entire car and then throw it in the toilet.

If it makes you feel any better, a year ago my nephews decided to c what a hammer and screwdriver would do to my 5k Mitsubishi big scree. Fortunately for me I had an extended warranty and a buddy @ Ultimate Electronics that took care of everything for me. My nephews got the ass whopping of a lifetime. Kids will be kids but when I was ten we surely didn't do chit like that.
