I might start with 2 of the Glass Cat fish like Ralph suggested and maybe one or two Anacharis plants, thats if a 15 gallon is enough room for it all to be good together.
Not sure on the spelling, but later on I got 2 Aneous cats. They only got to about 2" long. No problem for small tanks.
They feed on algae and all the little crumbs that fall to the bottom. Without them, the tank gets really dirty, really fast.
my heater can't seem to keep the water above 70* on cold nights so Ima get a better/bigger one. Also would getting a pump be overkill, its a 15g tank, or would it just be all that much better for it?
Yeah air pump was what I meant. I have a filter pump already. Their sure are alotta super cool fish to check out. Be sweet to upgrade to a big tank later on.
Add an air stone to the end of the line. That gives you skillions of little air bubbles.
Without adding the air in the water, the fish actually suffocate. Catfish shoot to the top and grab a shot of air, but all the other fish breath through their gills. They only go to the surface to feed.
Air and temperature are EXTREMELY important.
