Sweet! I would love to do an Evolution track.

Has he looked into tire prep at all?

That has been a game changer with my slot car setup. It's pretty simple, you really just need some flat and some sand paper. I bought a rig that goes on the track to simplify the process.

Better yet: buy or make your own silicone tires.

Ohh yeahhhh
I have some of those for a few cars I have, one F1 car and the others are "vintage" looking so they run super narrow tires = zero traction

Appears video link is broken, now.
Working now!

Looks like that car is running without a magnet. If there's no magnet, you definitely want to use silicone rear tires and add a little weight to the chassis.

Sweeet

Isn't it awesome when you guys figure it out?

Now you need to setup a way to track timing!
Some of those types of tracks support an app, my Carrera set uses a timing board. It's so much fun when you get in the zone seeing if you can best yourself!
