Dont' get too excited. I went on the low budget this time. My three year old likes my large RCs but wants to play with them in the house. Doesn't go over too well with the cat or the wife.

To give us both something to play with, I purchased some 1/43 scale upgradeable electrics from Toys 'R' Us. Snicker if you must, but these little cars are the right price and plenty entertaining on a rainy day. Not to mention they got my three year old involved in the hobby. Now she bugs me to play cars with her whenever the twins (yes I have twin children also) go to bed.

I spent a little under $100. Got a Mistubishi EVO, Nissan SkyLine, Mini Cooper S, two upgrade kits with three motors, tires, and an extra body (the Dodge Viper SRT-10).

Made by Fast Lane, these Super Slicks Mini RC are great fun. Feel free to comment.

Hey those are cool!! How much did they cost each?

I've seen them in the store and thought about getting a couple. How quick are they?

Hey, those are great. Even better is that your 3 year old can play with you and not worry about going head on into a wall. Shoot, I might even pick up one of those.

Dont worry sky, no one is snickering, me and RS43DRifter got into them and was really into modding them(outside of just buying motors) Sold alot of my collection to buy Storm parts

They have a motor that puts out 27000rpms and drives these little 4 inch rockets pretty quick. They do slow down as their charge drops, but it only takes about a minute to recharge them and they run for about five minutes.

One car and controller costs $20 at Toys 'R' Us.

Waste Land, those look like microsizers or some smaller variant of this. I do have one microsizer and it has been retired do to these newer mini-rcs.

If you want more information, my original post above has a hyperlink to the manufacturer's site. Plenty of info there and links to Toys 'R' Us online.

As for the wall abuse, these little suckers bounce pretty well. The three year old is still trying to master the art of steering while the vehicle is moving. That translates into many high speed runs into the baseboard.
