Hey All;
Well I went and did it again. After reading all the threads and doing some research I was on the fence about getting a 4x4SC just yet. But there has been a PE at the LHS with a big hole in the side of the box. And after offering 10% off it for a month there were no takers. SO after showing interest in it they offered 20% off and if there is any damage take it up with traxas. Man I could not pass it up.lol So I got it home and opened it up and it had a rip in the bag on the body but I didn't see any damage. I went ahead and put my FM radio gear in and also put my other heatsink and fan on the motor. I also installed the optional diff I just changed out the fluid to 125,000 Losi Silicone.At least I got most of the work done before I broke my toe. And now it is ready to go but I am laid up like a filleted fish.lol Oh well lifw has a way of slapping you in the forhead, OK here are the pics.Enjoy.l8r,w.

Looks pretty cool, I like the brake light. does it stay on all the time or did you wire up a way for it to "really" work?

that looks really good..i also like the break light...how did you wire that up?

Well I no longer need the stand in body. My PE lid is finished.Made it quick and simple since it's a beater lid and becuase of my foot. Oh well I ordered a manta from JC for the PE and I'll toss this on the 2WD Slasher. Also got to run a few batery packs through it this afternoon rom the tailgate of my truck. Wife marshaled abit for me. lol It is a fun lil ripper. Can.t wait to see it on a 3 cell. That will have to wait. Need to send my charger in for repairs.Will be without a way to charge Lipos for a few weeks.Boo Hoohoo. oh well might just have to grab a $29 chinese stand in lipo charger. Gotta have my RC fix.lol Well here are some new pics. enjoy.l8r,w.

Hey All; Scored a new lid for the Slash 4X4. I am moving the PE lid over to the Slash 2WD. I went with the JConcepts Manta lid and I am glad I did. The looks are killer and the lines work for me. Here are the paintwork pics. Enjoy.

Hey All; Well I got up early,9:30. And continued where I left off. I added the final color and then decided to try something different.I cut the protective film off over the fans and then painted a coat of silver on the outside to give it a more flat alluminum color.Seems to have worked out OK.Also got some trimming done as well and will be doing a bit of stickering and mounting it up.Stay tuned for mor updates.l8r,w.

Not much going on here.Mostly stock witha few mods and no Hop-ups as of yet. added a fan to the motor and did score a Traxxas ESC fan as well. I did the heat shrink trick to the drive shaft when I installed the rear diff and took the slipper out. I did make some WrenchFlaps ups for ir as well. Other than that I have just been running it a bit.Enjoy. l8r,w.

RPM goodies and some Bling,Functional ,Bling.RPM front and rear bumpers and some lights and flaps never hurts. And these nice alloy nerf bars were calling my name on eBay for a nice price.Got a few more ideas and goodies I want to do to the 4x4pe but so far I am more than happy with it.l8r,w.

Looking good, you planning on replacing the A-Arms with RPM as well?

Hey Fellas; So the F-1 race was on late last night and while watching the race I decided to add the last of my $3 light kits to the Slash 4X4 PE RPM goodies. Only complaint was the on/off switch is DOA. No workie workie at all from the get go. So I tyed it together to hot all the time and tossed it onto the Batt. chanel on the recv. Works perfect for me now. I also had a few Mini Mag light chrome domes and trimmed and installed them in the buckets.Then scrapped the clear lenses and glued the cage covers on. Just turn the rig on and all lights kick on. So here are a few pics for your viewing pleasure.l8r,w.

Also decided to add a few mm of body lift to stop some tire rubbin'.And also added a few mm of preload spacers to raise the ride hieght a bit as well. A arms were not level nad sagging a bit.

DSC03609.webp

Just had to toss on a few things. I saw these holes in the side of the body. So I cut them out and added and exuast tip to each side. Also had a rack laying around and tossed it on as well. Will be used for a few things I can find. And I wanted to see what it looks like with the roof lights as well. Thise are not drilled out yet.Enjoy.l8r,w.

Hey All; Well scored a few new parts for the 4x4 and had to do some maintnace as well. Rear diff had a ton of sand in it and the drive shaft center diff gear got a bit chewed and the bearing was just on the verge of failure.Rear diff was filled with grease so I swapped it for 50000wt diff fluid. Since the 54t gear was chewwed and no spare I used the 52t spare and swapped pinions as well from 13t to the 18t high speed included in the spares. So here are some pics of the rebuild and the parts additon. I opted for a TRX billet motor mount and motor plate as well as a set of 12mm hex drives from a Jato rear drives. And added a full set of RPM A-Arms since I was in there.Here are some pics.enjoy.l8r,w.
