what rims and tires are on your 2wd slash? they look mean.

They are Axial 2.2 crawler rims with ProLine 2.2 Gladiator tires.

Well after my last race I decided a few changes were needed to debashify and race prep my 4x4pe for some track astion was in order. Here is what I ended up with after 3 beers and a good 1/2 hour.lol Will be adding the rebuild pics during the week. Got my hands on Steve Slaydens setup specs sheet for the 4x4 and will be getting it ready for this Sudays track outing.

Well more rebuild pics for your viewing pleasure. So far I have torn the entire down. Dyed the chassis, cleaned every milimeter of it,cleaned and relubed the diffs with proper fluids. Then it was time to clean and oil all the bearings. Cleaned and rebuilt the motor, had a bad bearing. New gears were in order sine the motor bearing helped mess those up.Set the camber, toe and ride height as well.Lastly I tore down and rebuilt the shocks with the proper oils and pistons as well as resprung them too. Looks like it will be a long and winding road of learning this weekend with 2 races in 2 days at 2 different track. Gunna hit up DC Offroad on Sat. evening and Rotunda on Sun afternoon. Might be a ton of fun and a ton of work as well. Since I am still learning alot of new stuff for SC racing as well as what the truck are capable of doing as well as my driving style I have yet to even obtain.lol But the goal is to learn and have fun. Get out the house, off the sofa and my but as well as take these RC's out for some real action. So here are some more pics from the major rebuild and race prep work from the past week. Enjoy.l8r,wrench.
