Mugen MBX-5

Maybe I should have said softer than what I usually run. Shock oils I've been running 40 or 45 in front and 35 or 37.5 in the rear. Mugen gray (medium) springs in the front and gray or blue (soft) springs in the rear. Raised the ride height where the the CVA's are slightly above level and have the shocks standing more upright than I did with the XR. Diffs are 5,000F - 7,000C - 3,000R.

I only have a couple of action shots, go here

Decent pics!

So the suspension is a medium suspension with a hair higher than level ride height. Ill keep it in mind, if/when I get mine

Been meaning to ask, do you know any of the Harrison family from Tull?

Seems a small problem has arose on a couple of our buggies. The S5 o-rings that seal the diffs seem to be a little small. It's happened to me and my brother as well as a couple of other guys online. Maybe Mugen got a bad batch.

Quick and easy fix though. Just drop them in acetone for 15-20 seconds and they will swell a bit and fit snug in the diff housing. Don't leave them in the acetone too long or they will swell too much.

FlyinRazorback, wondering if you could do me a huge favor, I'm very much interested in knowing the ready-to-race weight in pounds of the MBX-5.
I am interested in compairing it against my Ofna MBX-R2.

Thanks

Race weight? Don't know. I know it's light, the lightest buggy I've owned. I have a feeling you would notice a difference between the two.
