ok i got a used HPI Racing MT2 and i got it started and everything but now i went to start it ...it wont start it wants to turn over but it wont and i changed everything the glow plug is brand new and batts in the car are brand new and so r the ones in the controller i dont kno wht else it can be? can anyone please help me? i dont kno wht to do!!!

look at the tip of the glow plug ingter those get dirty all the time

Check glow igniter battery. Always let the rig cool for about 5-10 before trying to restart after a flame out/shutdown. Most mills I've found have a temper if after running, you try to restart too quickly. Try very fine tuning on the LSN both richer and leaner. You may be out of tune a tad yet. Just a few ideas.

ok thankx guys and the glow starter battery is good... i guess i should let it cool down a bit b4 starting again.. but the thing is i had it runnin one day and they i shut it down and waited till the next day i tried to start it.. it would no start i mean over nite is enuff coolin thats the part i dont get!!

temps and humidity will change the way a nitro needs to be tuned. so if its 80* and 50% humid out one day, than the next its 90* and 80% humid. it will effect your tune and make it hard to start. try priming the engine before you start it and see if that helps. or just got back to factory settings and retune from there

i got it running tonite and i had it bout 10 ft. in distance off a ramp.. it was awesome!! thanks guys for the advice... i appreciate it!!

i am havin problems again.. it doesn't want to turn over but i do hav a ? tho. is there anyway yu can check the compression on this thing? if so where do i buy the tool?

you can get a compression tool at most any auto store, however I'm unsure if there are adapters that will fit in place of the glow plug. I'll search around to see if there is a RC model for testing compression.

Update: Check this link. $39.95 plus shipping. Tests both 2 and 4 stroke compression. http://www.centralhobbies.com/Tools/tool1.html
