The only problem we had with Breydon was he would not sleep in his bassinet. He had to be near me. And being my one and only kid, I was super protective of him, so I didn't mind. So for the first couple years, he laid his head on my arm, and I now think I have nerve damage in that arm because of it. He never once woke up in the middle of the night that I remember.

@ferrebee88 - that kiddo is going to grow up with an unhealthy obsession with beadlocks 🤣

I was worried about my son getting woke up so he went to bed with heavy metal playing in the house generally.
Always had music or some noise going
Wasn't having him wake up cause of loud noises surprising him
Now sadly he can't sleep WITHOUT sound lol
He never napped during the day so I got lucky he always slept thru the night

When my daughter was born (first born) she slept perfectly fine on her own in her bassinet and her crib. My wife wanted some skin time and tried to let the baby in the bed with us one night. Well...I sleep like a Big Bite in the hotdog warmer at 7-11...I tossed and turned so much that particular night, my wife thought I was going to crush the baby in my sleep. So that was the end of babies in the bed with us.

If only she was so concerned that I would steam roll the dogs.

I love that this beadlock post turned into us gushing over our kids. What a great group of RC nerds, for real.
Family is the most important thing in my life! I talk them up every chance I get. And that wife of mine... never questioning how much I spend on RC stuff and being supportive...just about brings a tear to my eye!

Yeah, my exwife and I were the opposite. I sleep like a brick. I don't move a bit. But I am also a very light sleeper.
