It did. I ended up setting him on my legs and he passed out in about 20 minutes. At least he was happy and awake and not screaming!

I remember those days! Funny though...I do not remember the "feeling" of being tired, i just remember that we were. Cherish them, as I know you will, because they grow up so fast.

Our first kid back in 2012 prepared us for this. He had his knights and days backwards and had colic so bad that he spent most of his waking moments either grunting or screaming for the first 4 months of his life.

Ours was in 2014 and I remember holding him and pacing the floor for hours. LOL...We did something right cause he is now 5'8" and 150lbs at 10 y.o. Still growing. I love being married and a parent.

I second that! This is our 4th and I wouldn't trade this life for anything!

I was out of the hobby during my kids' baby years. I played SO MUCH Call of Duty between the hours of midnight and sunrise the first few months of my son's life lol.

We were very fortunate in that all 3 of mine had nearly zero issues with sleeping at night, just the standard diaper changes and feeding.
No recollection of any hardships or tough challenges, just wonderful, happy memories of a time when we were their superheroes! I have all those baby/childhood pics on my phone to remind me regularly!
Come this fall, all 3 will be college. I'm setting up a Go Fund me page soon, so any contributions will be greatly appreciated!

I'm a late bloomer. We had ours in 2014 when I was 44 and my wife was 31 ( I was 35 and she was 22 when we met *rawr*) . We both work for the University of Kentucky and if he chooses to go there for college, tuition is free.

The first night home, my wife slept completely through the night. Her mother woke up to daylight and realized her newborn never woke up during the night. Panicking, she thought her daughter may be dead!
