hey guys, I just picked up a Momba 5700 Sport motor and ESC Combo, just wondering what your thoughts were on this set-up? I usually just bash but would also like to race a little, I run 2s 5000 lipo's. Any thoughts would be great, thanks

I hoped it was from someplace online. I'm in PA so that won't help much. Too bad we had to replace the capacitator in our air conditioner this morning at that just ate up my RC fun ($285)

The 5700 may be a little too high in kV for the Slash since it's a little heavier than some other 1/10th trucks. On the Traxxas forums, people generally recommend something lower in kV but some people make it work as well. If you don't gear it too high or run 3S much, you should probably be fine. Just watch your temps.

Yeah, I did have some heat issues with that motor in my Slash 4x4, gearing didn't seen to help much, I'll install it into my SC10! Thanks
