Same arms as the Slash, Rustler, Stampede 4x4s

I have a slash 2wd, so I know it's a little different, but I run rpm arms on the front and they're really great and even better than the Traxxas hd arms in my opinion. I used to run aluminum arms, but they were not good quality and would shake side to side because they had holes bored out too small to have the correct size pins. That adds play in your suspension and steering, which makes handling worse.

If you must... FLM makes great parts. I have their aluminum arms on my 1/5 Baja

Flm and team strc are my aluminum go tos alot of tge time. Have many colored strc parts and my stampede has been running a 1/8 chassis since 2009 or so.

I have noticed some trx cars have tiny pins in the caster while others have a larger pin. Been caught there a few times.

Also rem was a big name prior to 2010

I can tell you now that aluminum arms are a bad idea. I've tried them, they dont work. Try a harder plastic compound. RPM usually makes good ones, idk if they make them for the raptor R tho
Lots of variables out there, but, in general, I usually agree with the aluminum arms being a bad idea. Especially for an off-road RC. People like bedazzling their RCs to the extreme sometimes... gotta let 'em do it.

Quick update. I bought some Cobra slash arms and drilled for 1/8 pins. Nice fit and finish. Then after shredding the cobra arms from front tire slung rocks, I bought some Meus arms on sale. Very beefy and already 1/8 drilled with proper pins. Also very nice fit and finish. Both had no signs of sloppy cheap chinesium. The Meus are very thick!.

Aluminum arms are a bad idea... As soon as you crash and smack an arm on something, say bye bye to bulkhead and or chassis.

Paved road use only....no dirt or things to hit.
You are going to eventually hit something, weather it be a curb, parked car, mail box, or anything in the road, stuff is gonna break. Heck, if it does a tumble and smacks an arm at the right spot, its going to destroy things, plus you will bend the aluminum arms. I've done it on a losi mini t 2.0, after losing traction and flipping on the road. It completely obliterated the front bulkhead. Just beware, your wasting money. To each their own though. Good luck.
