There better lol, you get what you pay for. Pluse when you think about it a normal speed control is 50$ pluse 30$ for a good motor thats not even brushless and is a PITA. You go brushless you get better quality stuff for a little more money. Like I said I'm never going back and once the brushed setup in my moms mini-t takes a crap I'm droping one in it too(she'll pay and ill play lol)

For what? A non brushless set up that I mensioned yes, but it will give you the same pain in the ass that the one you have now does. Just get yourself a brushless system, easy said, easy done.

A Mamba Comp package can be had for around $130. I've got one each of my RC-18's. Almost uncontrollable in the 18r and the 18t wheelies real hard!
