Damn Ratzo! I don't ride right now, but was planning to buy a cruiser in the next couple years after some bills get paid. I'm thinking twice about that one.

Hmmm the worst pain, well thats a hard one but here goes. It was way back on 6/15/85 the day started out like any other, it was sunny I remember and warm just like most days around here at that time of year. Some of my best friends picked me up to go out. We went driving and stopped to have a drink or two at a small bar. after we left the bar everything is kind of in a haze, I remember a priest and alot of people being there. Then I heard the words that will haunt me till my grave ( I do ) and they were coming out of me. I still feel the pain of that day every time I wake up.

well now on to the real broken stuff. Feet 13 bones broken at verying times right knee in a birt bike crash. Back when I could still ride. 6 pieces of hot steel from my lower back (long story for another time). And the last one nerves tendons and other junk in my left wrist tore up from work.

All in all nothing to bad for 41 years of screwing up

I have had them a few times,runs in my family. 1st time I was in the fetal position in the shower I was in soooo much pain,I didnt know WHAT the heck was going on!!Wimpered to the wife to get me to the hospital, they knew right away, got a pain shot, the relief was so great I passed out almost right away.

That and I has a infected ingrown toenail cut out w/o pain killer. The doc said the shot would have hurt worse,NOT. The nurse had to leave the room while he was cutting it out.

I had one removed and the Doc gave me 3 shots in the same toe. They hurt like hell!!! I couldnt imagine getting one cut out with out them pain killers.

got hit in the head with a metal baseball bat wearing no helmet. Passed out after about 30 minutes of crazy pain. Probably the worst pain in my 16 years of life

well the first real pain i remember is when i was a kid i watched the mary popins movie when it came out........the next day i sneaked my moms sunday go to meetin umbrella on top the house & landed on a water fauscet........didnt float like it was sposta......it folded up backard and i went real fast strate down......

I was set on fire... twice. Once at age 12, 25% of my body 3rd degree, 20% 2nd degree and first, gasoline on leaves out of a pop can, bad idea. Also once at age 14, about the same percentages, just different spots. That time was with a half gallon of DA doing a hot air balloon experiment. My chemistry teacher set me on fire. Poor judgment on his part as to if the fire was out. It wasn't. It came out of the bottle like a flame thrower. I spent over a month in the hospital both times, then a month or so of out patient. Every day in the hospital, 3 times a day, they would scrape the scab/puss off the burned areas. It took about 2 hours at 6am, 12pm and 6pm. I was on a morphine drip for almost a month.

To this day, the scar tissue on my foot won't allow me to wear dress shoes and I don't have full mobility of my right knee and left foot. I still get twitchy when I light the grill or see someone screwing with fire... I'm 30 now.

You know it's a bad day when you look down and where your leg was, you see meat, tendons and bones...

Bout 2 months ago... Was having a hard time getting my boy to take a nap.. finally fell asleep.... phone rang... woke up... I punched my coffee table, broke my hand.

I broke my left arm 3 times....second time the bones were sticking out, I remembered my mom stressing over the abulance bill from the first time so I skated about 2 miles home to get a ride to hospital from my neighbor.....3rd time was at the superbowl of hardcore at the Ritz, got whacked with a steel toe Doc Martin in the pit...I stayed to watch agnostic front finish the set and go to the party at roger's house....they made me go to the hospital cause my arm was swollen.....
broke my right ankle at a public skatepark in the bronx and had to climb out over a 10 ft iron fence cause we didn't want the city to close the park from kids getting hurt..LOL
I had a hernia that all my guts fell into my left nut and then strangulated the artery to my left leg and I almost lost it (my leg that is).....I now have a 6x3" screen in my stomache holding my guts in...doc said it was th ebiggest hernia he'd ever seen...could put almost his whole hand in the hole........and yes I have a huge scar there...... as well as my left forearm.....
I got creamed by a cab (#3D63) when I was a bike messenger and was knocked out cold and woke up 2 days later...My left collar bone is not connected to my shoulder any more and I had knee surgery on my right knee (just scoped)..
tried to backside 180 ollie a 55 gallon drum on flat ground and my left knee separated......3 ligaments were almost completely gone...the ACL was totally torn out from both sides because I just stepped off the board after clearing the can but I was only 90 degrees and my knee just snapped......

my left talus bone is shattered.....and I have no idea when or how it happened

I broke my right wrist blocking a baseball bat to the head from some dip poop in east NY......

and I've broken most of my fingers at least once.......

all that combined doesn't compare to passing 1 small kidney stone by myself in a shithole apt for 5 days cause I didn't have insurance.......
I started taking different martial arts classes over the last 15 years just because It only hurts when bad when you stop being active...I don't take any pain medication and get through the bad days by telling myself what a Sifu taught us in class

Pain is weakness leaving the body.......

I think they pound that into Marines too...LOL....they wouldn't take me though.....

I have had several cuts that required stitches. Carpal tunnel surgery from one. (Hands are still messed up.)
Messed my back up pretty bad at work.
Blind-sided in beer joints and woke up on the floor.

Worse thing was, about ripped one of my fingers off.
We were trying to get a cab off of a front end loader. It was fouled up and when it finally came loose my finger was in a bad spot. Ripped the nail seat out and broke the tip in 5 pieces. Hasn't grown back right and still bothers me when it's cold.

Not bad for 44 years.

For me would have to be about 6 years ago. On memorial day weekend, at my moms work there was a gathering of friends and family. It was after a strong season of rain. My wife and our newborn son then was only a couple months old. We were all sitting around outside waiting for the food to be cooked. Next to the barbeque there was a deep fryer for egg rolls. I am filipino.. can't go on witout egg rolls!! Anyways, we gave our son to my mother in law because he was crying uncontrollably. She took him inside to get him out of the sun. Well My wife and I were talking with my cousin and we started to hear a crackling. Since there are a lot of palm trees in the court yard, I thought it was just that. Unfortunately.. I saw an oak tree with a diameter of about 5 feet, start to crak right down the middle.. From that point I yelled to my wife to get up. Yelled for all to run but I got no more than 2 steps and it came crashing down. A large trunk got me square across my back pushing me into my wife. SInce my wife is a foot shorter than I am, I know she would have been hurt badly or worse. There were several injuries there but my cousin and I were hurt the worst. Since my cousing is freaking tank he was ok but I was airlifted to Community memorial hospital. I was in bad shape for about 6 months. Lots of physical therapy.They said I would have chronic back episodes or worse in my life.

Here is the kicker... if my son didn't start crying, he would have been right in the middle. God blessed us once again with a miracle. He saved our son.

But hey I am still here.Yes I get back aches a lot. I just continue to strengthen my back.

That is the worst for me.

Back in 1997 I sustained a L2 Compression Fracture of my L2 vert. Talk about pain! I could not take a wiz or a crapola without some very severe pain. I had to drink this stuff just so I could sit on the toilet and have a BM without squeezing. Oh yeah it was fun!

I think the worst pain I've felt was last year when I broke my wisdom tooth. It broke off just above the gum line and exposed the nerve. Every little twitch or movement of my jaw felt like someone ramming a fork into my gums. I was chowing down pain pills like M&M's for 3 days and it still wouldn't go away. Finally I got it pulled completely out.

had both knees hyperextended (read:bent the wrong way) during football practice when I was in Highschool. Couldnt walk for almost 2 weeks and took another month before I didint need crutches.

Also when I was about 13 I was racing my 10speed as fast as I could down a big hill in town. My little digital speedometer registered about 40mph when I tried to take a curve at the bottom of the hill. Front tire got caught in a rain gutter and I went flying. Slid about 30feet on my elbows. was picking glass and rockes out of the meat (kinda looked like pizza without the cheese) when my mom came home. I dont know what hurt more. My mother YELLING at me for getting hurt or the pain I was in.

If you go into a state of shock and feel no pain counts, when I was almost 7 I got really upset because my mom wouldn't pitch a couple to me. I slammed our painted to look like would steel door (wish I would had known that) hard as I soulc with my index finger in the hinge. I don't know if the door was stuck or I was just so freaked out buy when you talk about a loud scream! My mom cam rushing to the door. Whe I got in my house, there were pools of blood on the white tile. The white rag it was wrapped in was red at the hospital. It was hanging on by some skin, ligaments and a tenden I think, but it was HANGING. When it rains, my finger hurts. The skin never really fully grew back on the side of the nail so you see the nail grow up in a way. I have a big (for a finger tip) scar. Funny think is it mathes the 1 inch scar I got from having my finge caught in a hasp at myejers. The doc said 20 more min. adn bye bye finger. Had to use a real hacksaw to cut it.


I think the reason all middle aged and older people hate kobe is because they name their worst kidney stones after them. Just won't pass! Kidney stones win, but CONSTIPATION IS THE WORST!
