I used to sell cars, take my word for it. NADA is the only dependable resource for for finding a value. When you break down all the reasons why dealerships set prices for cars it all comes down to what the banks will give. National Automotive Dealers Association (otherwise known as the "black book") is the onlything banks and dealerships truly care about. They only talk about "blue book" because it's been so hyped up over the years, they know that's what the public wants to hear about. But don't go lookin for it at Borders or any other book store... you won't find it. I'm not 100% positive but I think the only way you can get one is if you're affiliated with the industry. ie. banks, dealerships, auto auctions, yadda yadda
