what is the fastest 1/10 & 1/8 scale monster trucks available now?

Quit tuggin' on shirt tails and do some research. Multiple threads for such an opinion based question will get you nowhere. Any truck can be set up any way. You didn't list price, stock or modded, street or dirt, ect... First one that comes to mind is the vxl Stampede. 70 mph out of the box as long as you get the proper batts, charger, and gears. It will also go 30 with a cheap 6 cell. See what I mean?

It's all about setup. Any nitro car can be set up to be the fastest. Where will you be driving it? Price range? How much to spend on upgrades? That should help you get a more accurate answer.


Now if money isn't a problem, I would go for a Revo. Then pull the EZ start off and make it a bump start (Weight factor). Then from their you can upgrade to a CF chassis or arms and the engine for speed.

No price range? I would say the Revo still. Out the box it's pretty fast. But I'm not sure if you would count the Revo as a truggy or a MT. I think the XXL from Losi is fast. It comes with an engine that is exactly like the LRP Z28R.

I think the XXL from Losi is fast. It comes with an engine that is exactly like the LRP Z28R.

My buddy has an XXL and he absolutely loves it, anything Losi is fast and rules ! It actually comes with a 454.
