I need some info on a mini T. Where to buy? Options? Just basically everything that has to do with them. I want to buy one for my daughter. She'll be back from South America on the 31st so I need it no later than then.

Here's what I've done to mine:

Orion esc
graupner speed 300 motor
losi aluminum shocks
ball bearing upgrade
aluminum steering block
Ti rods
Mip CVD's
JR 2Xr radio
micro servo upgrade

It's faster than my micro rs4. It needs some sway bars and stiffer springs. I wish thediff was sealed so you could put diff lock fluid in it. Oh, and it takes a while before the gears wear in to the point that it doesn't sound like hell. The stock radio kind of bites, but is functional if you're not driving the piss out of it. The steering servo really bites. there have been a couple threads on this, and I think it was Blazer that really pointed out the stock servo's weakness. When it finally craps out, do the servo conversion and swap out the radio and esc combo to aftermarket components. A replacement losi servo is almost as much as a regular (micro) servo.

It's a blast, oh yeah, I was running mine that night we were testing the franken-pipe.

Graupner is the shiznit. Check out their website sometime.

Mine is getting stronger the more I run it. I put some silicone diff grease in the diff and the gearing is much quieter now, and more power is getting to the ground too. If I was running a lighter setup (like Li batts) it would probably be a monster. I wish it was 4wd though. For the price of a branded motor could get ya 2 S300's.

Buddy, this is for Makayla. The only upgrades I might think about are lighter weight/stronger parts and things to slow it down greatly like maybe voltage regulator right before the motor.

Stay bone stock, and run either the 4 cell AA or 4 cell AAA stocl battery pack.

Error- What was the cost of the motor? The site takes awhile to load.

Did you try this link: Hobby Lobby

that's hobby-lobby, not hobby lobby.

I think they're the sole importers of Graupner stuff here in the US. At least that's where my lhs got them from.

true they are the sole importers of the Mabuci motors to the US. Graupner is the German importer. Peel your Graupner sticker off and you will see it says Mabuchi 7E. All Speed 300's are Mabuchi 7E's http://www.mabuchi-motor.co.jp/english/

I wouldn't care if it said acme motors on it. For a 10 or 15 dollar upgrade, you can't beat it. Brushless motors are in a class by themselves. That vid of the mini-t on the golf course kind of prooves that.
