I had the opportunity to grab 1 of these recently, and did not. I wish this was a std. Release like they did with the jrx2. The limited edition collectable thing doesn't work for me. If I bought it I am gonna take it out of the box, drive it, and eventually modify where the collectable aspect is worthless. Every now and then I show a modest amount of self control...

Lol! Your title bahaha! This post reminds me of the episode in big bang when Penny gets Leonard and Sheldon the transporter toys from Star Trek and they dont want to open it...she says "whats the point if you aren't going to play with it." Yup! Agree

I actually would love to grab 1 of these trucks, would be perfect for my Lil dirt oval in the back yard. Did your buggy show up yet?

Sadly no....eta keeps changing, but it says tomorrow. I also got a losi mini-t 😆...that is supposed to come tomorrow too...I figure, now I am set, I have one for crawling, dirt, and carpet...lol at least for now😅

I can test drive a single 1/10 around it while I mod stuff. It's best for smaller stuff like the 1/16-1/18 scale. Measures something like 24x11 I think.

Just ordered Hooser dirt oval tires. Gotta find wheels that fit JR Speed hubs.

With the track out there I spent a lot of time looking at the 1rc racing stuff. I don't think they are a great choice for more than carpet and asphalt though....or I might have 1 of them already

That 1RC stuff is beautiful. 1/18 scale is nice size. I better stay off that site!

Anyone know of anything similar to the jrxt with less collectable nonsense that would be a good fit to run laps out there. I may throw new tires on the mini b and run that out there instead of racing on carpet. The cost per lap ratio will be much better at home. I will just move the transponder into my RJ speed modified when it's built.

It's pretty great, and there are some deals to be had when the updated models come out. Now they have 4.0 models, the 3.0 can be had cheaper. The big problem is they come with an odd size non lipo battery. So far I haven't found anyone that can put a 2s in my hand and say these are the ones that fit in the space the car has. A non lipo brushless car seems like a strange mix of tech, but what do I know
