Well I just ordered some of the parts to convert my slash to a revo. I'm curious what a lot of you guys are running for tires. It will be used 50-50 on and off road.

Also does anyone use adjustable push rods. My son will want to have it sitting high as it can.

Proline deadlocks with the dirt hawg's tires does wonders on and off road.

I mounted the dirt hawgs to a set of HPI super stars and they are much quicker than the original titus/dirt hawg setup and a LOT lighter.

wouldnt it be cheaper or easier to buy a revo instead of converting???? Just curiouse because I see somany people convert one rig to another or so on..... Why do alot of people do that?????? nothing against anyone just curiouse...

I am running Proline Road Rage tires on the Traxxas 7171 dished rims. I am running 95% on road though. The Dirt Hogs on the Traxxas rims would be great too for more mixed driving. They are very light. The difference in weight from the stock to my setup is only 3 grams per tire/wheel combo.

It only cost me $65 to convert it. I have only ran it in the basement. Been to busy working on my motorcycle. :)

If you get a great deal on a truck and you can convert it cheaper than buying one than why not. The mini slash was fun on the pavement with slicks installed but my son was board with it and couldn't keep up with the pede.

ah ha kinda makes more sense now I just hear so many people say they are converting there rig and have been wondering why and no one really answered.. Wel I got one person to answer but it was about an older buggy being converted so that was the reason..... but thanksI looked and not as much as I thought... But do you know why people will take a nitro truck and make it electric???

I seen a guy that converted his losi mt to lipo. He said he found a good deal on a conversion kit and he had the truck set up just the way he liked. He said it cost him around $300. My neighbor is converting one oic his jatos to brushless we will have to see how it turns out.
